Home Phone dial tone but no service

We have just had NBN bundle connected.  The internet works just fine but when the home phone rings we cannot receive calls.  There is nothing at the other end.  We have a dial tone.


Please advise.

Welcome to the community! I was able to locate your account using your given details and ran initial test. It shows home phone is active and you should receive incoming call.


I would like to confirm if the handset is connected to the modem/router [phone 1] port. Have you tried to call to your own home phone number for testing purposes? If yes, I'd like to know the error message.
