Home phone porting

Hi I am a new customer connected to nbn I have requested to port my landline number it has passed the 5 working days, I have received email stating it’s all good to go, I can only make out going calls when I try to call the landline number it tells me the number is invalid I have called tech support twice they did something then tried to call and it worked but straight after i tried & hasn’t worked since getting frustrated
