I have over night updated my plan to NBN FTTN SL bundle 25.

Does this mean I can connected a phone into my modem and make/receive calls. I was previously with Telstra for NBN + phone and the old number is stating disconnected. What is my next step to re-activate my land line please?

Let us help check the status of the land line service and get to the bottom of this. Did you initial request to port the landline number from Telstra to TPG? Also could you shoot us a PM with your details to better understand the situation.
