I was initially on NBN12 plan and 6-7 months back I've upgraded to NBN 50 plan and from then on I get download speed consistantly around 20-25MBPS where as my upload speed still stays at 0.75-0.8 mbps:
I tried with direct LAN cable as well and not much difference:
