With the NBN FTTC connection, i was provided a 2m telephone cable which is just 0.5m short of reaching my telephone/router box. How can I go for a longer cable? The box doesn't mention if it is RJ11 or RJ12.

Can TPG Ship this telephone cable (from wall socket to NBN connection device) if needed?

Hi @tarangoyal

The ''LINE'' cable you require is an RJ11 (although rj12 can also be used).

Up to 5m in length is always the best practice, and the shorter the better. I advise NOT to use any 8-10-15 metre type extension cables.

You can purchase this from any store.

I will appreciate if you can provide reference to any store with links. I mostly found RJ12 in bunnings/officeworks but not sure if they got what it needs to avoid any losses for NBN high speed transmission.
