Nbn constant dropouts

Since upgrading my NBN plan there have been constant dropouts. Called many times, received calls back which i have missed as well. First time i called i was advised to reset the modem. Did that. Switched modem and connection device on and off. Nothing is solving the issue. The constant dropouts are becoming extremely annoying and this never used to happen considering i have been with TPG for more than 9 years. If this is not resolved i will need to change providers. It is unacceptable.

In your case, the connection shows stable and we are not detecting any fault on the line or network that may affect its performance at the moment.


Further investigation may be required to identify what is really dropping out as it could be the Wireless connection, if you're connecting all your devices via Wi-Fi.


Wireless dropout can be eliminated by using a wired connection. You can connect a computer directly to the router via ethernet cable and if the connection will not drop on a wired device, it is likely a wireless drop outs issue.
