New connection fault. Flashing lights

Hi, 

Can you please confirm if the service is active for the subject account?

I have received the SMS advice to connect.
The cables are connected correctly. 
Having waited one hour, the connection light continues to flash and the dsl flashes at times too.

the green modem internet light has not come on.

please confirm
