I want to port my work phone number currently under a Telstra account to TPG. Originally it was my personal number but my workplace took over the paying of the account and swapped to Telstra. I would like to move it back to TPG. The account is now in my employer's name. I have an official letter from my employer authorising the swap. This has been carried out successfully by many others in my organisation to other providers but TPG is asking that the number be changed to my name first. How can we make the swap without changing the name?
