Relocation nightmare

Its been more than a month now since I requested for relocation. NBN technical visited my place last week and suggested he can activate line now but he has got notes from NBN not to install meter box and activate line (dont know for what reason).. When I contacted TPG today, they suggested next appointment for NBN technician is after 1 month !!!!. 

 

Am I alone on the boat ? or this is a normal time for NBN relocation  ( 2months).

 

Im thinking to go with another ISP for better timing for relocation.
