Hi, I activated my SIM a few days ago, and my mobile data is not working yet, even though it says Enabled on my account. The phone calls and text messages are working on this handset, but not data. It does connect to wifi though, but not the mobile data. I have tried turning Airplane mode on/off, data settings on, phone on/off.
I have tried Technical Support Live Chat but it doesn't seem to be working. It has ticked well past 8am now, and still says "Our team members are currently serving other customers. We appreciate your patience. Please try again later" I tried Mobile Support yesterday, but there was only so much they could do, just reseting my account, which didn't resolve this. If a staff member can PM me or get back to me, and I can provide my number and other details etc.
If this isn't resolved soon/maybe the next week or so, I'll probably move my number to Amaysim or another Optus Network provider. I had just moved from Virgin because they're shutting down. I suspect one reason my mobile data isn't working is because this handset is locked to Optus Network(?), but this doesn't quite make sense because everything else is working, and it says TPG on the screen.
