I had a Prepare account for my Daughter. She travels to New Zealand from Australia and I wanted to allow international roaming. I was told the only way I could do that was to have a $500 cash advance on her prepay account and any outstanding balance would be refunded. The trip finished in, March 2021 with a balance of $400 on the pre-paid account. I have been trying to get the refund credited ever since . 3 time I have sat on hold for until I all I get a very apologetic person who promises the refund will happen in 5-8 days. The refund never comes.
Can TPG advise At what point is this theft that I should report to the ombudsman?
