Move home from FTTB to FTTB in the same building

Move home from FTTB to FTTB in the same building.   the new address and the old address is in the same building.

1. Do I required to be home for relocation? 
2. Do I need change the old FTTB modem to a new one？
3. How long it will take for the relocation?
