My 2.4Ghz WiFi drops our multiple times each day, while the 5Ghz WiFi has no problem.
To resolve the issue temporarily I need to reboot the modem.
Another family member is having the same problem with his Archer VR1600V.... is there a known hardware issue with these as they age? (I had no issues for the first 18 months or so)
It's becoming a major PITA to be honest, as my house is "smart" but becomes absolutely dumb with each dropout.
Thanks for the reply. I talked to one of your phone service agents yesterday and they did a hard reboot of my modem/router. Since then I have had no WiFi drop-outs but I will continue monitoring it for a few days to see if the issue is resolved for good. Cheers, Rusty
