No internet connection

Customer number 6785152 - we were connected last week and nbn worked fine for the first few days but one week later the connection keeps dropping for no reason. Once it has dropped out, only the power light is on the Arris router. Have tried reconnecting white cable, resetting power to both router and modem and restoring factory settings. Nothing works. It comes on by itself for no reason hours later. Could someone please attend to this?
