TP Link VR 1600

I currently have NBN in my current address which is a HFC connection and was given a TP Link VR1600 Router to connect to the internet.  I'm moving to another house which is FTTB I believe and really need access to the internet asap.  My question is, will I be able to able to use the TP Link VR1600 in the meantime till new modem/router arrives?

Hi @ mitchcruz,

I can’t guarantee without knowing the exact service you will be getting. But you should be able to get the TP-Link VR1600v working on NBN HFC, NBN FTTN,  NBN FTTB, TPG FTTB and ADSL. It should work on most services, however depending on the service you may need to change some of the settings to get it up and running.

Should you need further assistance, feel free to search community for help or chat with us at https://www.tpg.com.au/support/contact/  and we'd be glad to assist you.

Thanks,

Karl
