When will we be connect to nbn we are ready and waiting

Hi we received the text stating to connect and promptly did so. 24 hrs on and still no connection plus unable to use our ADSL So no internet at all. It would have been clearer if TPG had given a time line as to when connection would really happen. Question, when will connection happen please?
