Disconnection of wifi

Heyy! Recently nbn had emailed saying we should connect to nbn but we haven’t done it yet and the last 4 days our internet has been disconnecting every 5 minutes. I was wondering on if nbn is the reason or there might be another problem.Please I need and urgent reply. Thanks
