Hi. I just moved to new apartment and found out that I dont have plug for phone/modem.

There is just wire sticking out of the wall, nothing on its end. I don't know if it's working or not. Is it possible to fix this and connect phone/modem? What should I do?

My TPG installation sheduled next week.

Hi @annape18,

Welcome to the Community!

We will deliver your service to the network boundary point of your Premises. This network boundary point is either:

  • Your first telephone socket - this applies mainly for standalone premises like a house
  • The Main Distribution Frame (MDF). This is a small telecommunications room within your premises. This applies mainly for apartments, office blocks or larger business premises.
  • A network termination device which is a Telstra box externally mounted a single dwelling

In your case, I  would recommend to consult this with your strata manager first.

Let us know should you need further assistance.

Regards,
