Please cancel my account (#5758773) ASAP. I'm sick of the CONSTANT dropouts. It's become almost impossible to check an email without the connection dropping. ENOUGH!!! And, no, I'm not interested in switching to NBN so please stop calling me about it. Thank you.

The NBN Fibre Technology is currently being rolled out around the country by the Australian Government. Once the NBN has rolled out in your area, you will have 18 months before the old network (ADSL) will be switched off if you're still on it.

 

Unfortunately, there's no way of getting around this, everyone will have to move over to NBN eventually as all copper lines will soon be decommissioned. 

 

All TPG customers are contacted with an offer to transition to the NBN once their address is NBN ready. Therefore, you will have more options to choose from in terms of Internet speed and performance. 

I have raised the connection issue to our Engineering team for further investigation. Kindly await updates via phone call or SMS.

Thanks but like I said, I'm not interested in NBN. It's not suitable in my apartment building where the power outlets (literally only 5 of them) and phones lines are nowhere near each other. I'll be using a mobile broadband connection from here on out as it has proven far more reliable than anything else myself and my neighbours have access to. So, again, please just cancel my account, it's not under contract and no longer in use. Thank you.
