I wish to change mobile plan but there is a bug on my account status page

Hello, I am trying to change my mobile plan but a bug on my account status page that says "Cancellation in progress" is preventing me from doing so. I was going to cancel it but then informed support that I wasn't going to cancel it and they haven't removed the note from the status page so I can't change to a different plan which is what I have now decided to do. Please don't send me to online chat support. Either change the status on the account page or just allow me to change plan please. I tried to just sign up for a new plan but it doesn't let me do that either because I do not want to change my number. Thank you for your attention.
