Identification check

Hello everyone

I'm trying to update my credit card details with a new expiry date and having some difficulty.  I have phoned the TPG accounts department and they have requested photos of myself and my mother as well as photos of both our driver's licences - front and back (the back now has a number as well)

These documents are very useful for fraud and identity theft these days and I'm concerned to hand them over.

Has anyone else encountered this request? Is this normal practice for TPG?
