Poor communication has caused major issue

I didn't receive an email telling me TPG had moved to Novus.
Two phone calls, still not fixed.
Tried topping up my account many times using old portal, now all are pending as my credit card expiry date was 2019. This hasn't stopped the monthly charges for the prepaid contract though.
Now I have no credit to make international phone calls or SMS, in hospital trying to update family. Very very frustrating and disappointing as I have been a long term TPG customer.
