Porting fee not listed in Critical Information Summary

To whom it may concern,

You would expect all critical information to be listed in TPG’s critical information summary. And an $11 porting fee is exactly that - CRITICAL! No other telco I have EVER used has had a porting fee. So why is this not listed?

Lots of people have been complaining about this here, and I note the typical response is to forward them to a link to the terms and conditions.

Under consumer law, telco’s are required to offer consumers a Critical Information Summary with ALL critical information.

Directing frustrated users to your terms and conditions is NOT a satisfactory remedy.

TPG, list this information in the Critical Information Summary, and reimburse all of us who have been stinged by your malpractice. I’d be happy to contact the ACCC over this.
