Work email is sending out a spam.

Hi.

I accidently openned a spam file using our tpg email account and it has since sent the same file to everyone on our email list. 

I wish to know what I need to do now besides change password to make sure our work email address and computer are no longer compromised.

Hi @lightnupaccount

 

Aside from changing the password of your Email account.

Please run a full scan on your computers or devices to make sure that there's no spy/malware installed on them.

 

If you are opening or accessing your bank accounts or other important accounts on the said computers, then you might need to change the password on them again.

 

Block the email/s that sent you the said file. You may also need to strengthen your mail filtering.
