cancel adsl service

I cancelled my TPG account on Wednesday 01/04/2020 and received an automated email saying "thank you for contacting the TPG Cancellations department, WE WILL GET BACK O YOU WITHIN 1 BUSINESS DAY". This has not happened. The automated email also stated "no changes have been made to your account and it remains active until further correspondence". Well, that's what I'm here for... FURTHER CORRESPONDENCE. I want my Internet cancelled immediately (as I have a new modem and provider) and do not want to be charged for a service I am no longer using. Please get back to me immediately.
