question regarding transfering to other provider overseas

Hi,
 
I'm currently overseas with international roaming on. I plan to transfer to other provider while I'm overseas, and I'm wondering what will happen after I activate the sim card from the other provider? Will my TPG account be closed? Will the 500 dollar deposit be refunded to my bank account automatically? Thanks!
