Account Cancellation

Hi, After a horrendously handled attempt to move my connection to our new home, I decided that after 12years, I was done with TPG. I've been trying to cancel my account with TPG for the past 10 days. My first call was on the 1st of June, where I was assured the cancellation would happen in 24-48hrs. My Second call was on the 6th of June after realising I had $79 taken from my account on the 3rd of June. I was again assured that the cancellation request would happen within 24-48hours. I'm currently on hold trying to get you to remove my payment details and cancel my account once again as I've heard nothing and it's now the 11 of June. If I don't get a reply here or my account cancelled tonight I'll be submitting a complaint with the ACCC tomorrow. Failure to remove my personal details and payment details and removing my account when requested multiple times is simply not good enough. I don't feel confident that your team will not attempt to take money from my account again.

Thanks, any advice to try and get your staff to process my request would be greatly apprectiated.

They are a joke. Do not use the phone and send them this form. I just did.

It will send a email and it is likely to bounce back. If the email bounceback, use the form content and send again to cancel@tpg.com.au

 

Then you have a record.
