BYO 5G modem

Hello TPG community,
I have an existing set up around my house using a Google Mesh Router and wifi as the backbone. The current modem provided by TPG for 5G home internet is the "Sagemcom 5866t" which does not support Bridge mode and will cause a Double NAT.

Am i able to purchase a 3rd party modem like the "Nighthawk M5" or "HTC 5G Hub" which support bridge mode and still use the TPG 5G service?

Hi @Zycro

The 5G broadband service will not work with a 3rd party modem/router.

It is only configured with the TPG provided service.

You may use an access point or a mesh network that uses your TPG provided device as a main router.
