Cable Speed is fine, but wireless speed is very low

I am with TPG NBN100 Plan and am using a Netcomm NF12 (N300 Wireless Router) provided to me by TPG upon 12 month contract. 

Recently, I am having a lot of issues with the speeds I am getting on wifi. I tested the speed via a cabled connection to the router and obtained 99 mbps. However, conducting the same test on wifi standing next to the modem gave results ranging from 0.5 - 20 mbps. 


Is this the issue of the router - and if so, will i be able to get a replacement router from TPG as I am on the 12 month contract plan (I can add an additional 12 months to contract if that is what it takes). 


Or, is it an internal issue on my end - eg. too many devices connected/device hogging bandwith etc.
