Can't access http://tplinkwifi.net/

I want to change the password on the new VX220-G2V, I typed http<semicolon>//tplinkwifi<dot>net/ in the address bar and I got this -

Trying to configure the Router?

It looks like you aren't connected to your TP-Link network.

To access tplinkwifi<dot>net, your device must be connected to TP-Link Router’s network. Please check your network connection and try again.

Umm but I am connected to the TP-Link network.

Solution One:

Some Web browsers may have cached this page by accident, you can clear the cache and history of your browser and try again.

I Ctrl, Shift, Del and deleted everything from all time, and I was still directed to the page that told me I'm not connected to the TP-Link network.

Besides, you can also try a different browser to access http<semicolon>//tplinkwifi<dot>net.

I have 4 browsers on my PC, I Ctrl, Shift, Del and deleted everything from all time on EVERY ONE OF THEM, and I'm still being directed to the page that told me I'm not connected to the TP-Link network.

So I turned to my mobile phone, something that has never been used to access my modem, I even downloaded a browser to my mobile (one that had never used before by myself), it's got to work surely?

Heck NO!!

I'm still being directed to the page that told me I'm not connected to the TP-Link network.

The same webpage that told me to delete all data oh and besides, you can also try a different browser to access http<semicolon>//tplinkwifi<dot>net.

What a joke, then to add insult to injury, I went to TP-Links website, waited a good hour for an online tech to help me, only to be told, go away can't help you, you need to talk to your ISP.

Hi @Fiery

You can use the IP address (192.168.1.1) of the modem/router to access the modem interface.

Just check the sticker on the modem/router for the details.

If you are still not able to access it, just let us know and we'll check on what we need to do.
