Get online support

Complete email login failure since last night except when TPG wants to use it.

I have migrated everything to TMC weeks ago with no apparent problems and now this.

SInce last night all my email accounts wont start and give me error messages like this for all accounts.

 

Sending of password for user mXXXXXXXXX did not succeed. Mail server mail.tpg.com.au responded: [SYS/TEMP] Temporary authentication failure. [sep-kakadu02.i-074cc5ab2624a4b94:2023-10-04 22:25:02]

 

Sending of password for user eXXXXXXX did not succeed. Mail server mail.tpg.com.au responded: [SYS/TEMP] Temporary authentication failure. [sep-kakadu02.i-0d35bae10804f2c7d:2023-10-04 22:22:31]

 

However when I registered to join this community to whinge and bitch this morning, TPG happily sent me almost instantly a registration email. In fact it sent it three times, however when I attempt to read mail from the same account I get the authentication failure message.

WTF is going on? Any ideas???????

Hi @Not-hapi-jan 

 

There was a known issue with the TPG Emails, which affected incoming and outgoing emails from third party providers.

 

It was resolved today and should start working as normal.

 

Test it and let us know how it goes.
