I have recently created an account with TPG and using my own modem - NetCommWireless NF18ACV.

After following the guides I have seen, the internet is still flashing red and the modem says no internet connection when I am logged in as an admin.

Is my modem not compatible or what do I need to do?

Many thanks,

Hi @jaydenpope . You said the internet is flashing red. The only red light on the Netcomm is the power light. Do you have a NBN box with flashing red light? If so, means your phone line is not connected to NBN network.

Settings for Netcomm:

First select your INTERNET SERVICE: VDSL or Ethernet WAN

(VDSL for FTTB/FTTN. Ethernet WAN for FTTC, FTTP, HFC)

Select CONNECTION TYPE: PPPoE

Username + @tpg.com.au and password

802.1p:    0

VLAN tag:   2   (if FTTP, leave both as -1)

Hey,

The power icon has a green light, as does every thing else. However, the internet icon is red.

I'm FTTC and the nbn lights are all on and working.

Cheers

@jaydenpope . Have you been notified by TPG that your connection is active?

If you are on BYO router data only plan, VLAN is not used. You can check your plan in My Account.
