If the internet is properly working on your Wi-Fi devices and on the Linux computer, which is connected via ethernet cable, we can conclude that there's no issues with your TPG service.
We are suspecting that it has something to do with the Windows 10 computer's network configuration or the operating system itself.
What is the make and model of your Windows 10 computer?
Are you able to contact the original equipment manufacturer?
Are you also able to contact Microsoft so they can check if there are settings on their operating system that needs to be set up?
It is a custom bult machine from MSY Technologies, that is using WIN10, before I go to them for assistance, can TPG please provide updated settings for Win10 to allow good connection to their service.
Not sure how to contact microsoft.
Hi @Horse3601 This type of problem has a very good chance of being resolved if you update the LAN (Nic) drivers by going to the motherboard manufacturer's website and downloading the latest version for your installed OS, in your case Windows 10.
Find out what make and model motherboard MSY has installed in your custom build by checking your invoice. Most likely it'll be from either Asus, ASrock, Gigabyte, Msi etc, go to the support section of the relevant website and search for the latest downloads.
There maybe an update utility included on the supplied software disc which may help this process, I would suggest also updating the BIOS as well as the LAN drivers, even though your motherboard is new it can have several updates that have been released since it left the factory.
Let us know how you go.
Thanks
Spot on with the problem. Motherboard install 1 Apr 2019 ASUS release an update for LAN/ethernet driver for motherboard 3 Apr 2019.
Updated drivers last night, and no problems logging on this morning
Appreciate assistance
