Delaying activation

Hello,
Yesterday I signed up with TPG on the 5G Broadband, and today the modem was delivered.
I've just called my previous provider to cancel, and I have to wait 30 days for the cancellation, which means I am with them until the 20th of July.
Is it possible to delay activating my TPG service until the 20th of July so I am not paying for two services at the same time?
I haven't unboxed the modem yet.

Hi @kformosagee,

 

Your service won't be activated until you plug in your modem and connect to our network. The 30-day billing cycle will begin once your connection is active.

 

Just a heads up, you'll have 30 days to connect from the day your modem was delivered.
