Extremely Slow Upload speeds

Hello,

We're experiencing very slow upload speeds in Narre Warren, Vic, 3805.

The download speed is good at about 11.2 Mbps.

However the upload speed is only 0.9 Mbps.

Uploading Youtube videos and saving large files to the cloud etc. takes forever and sometimes aborts altogether.

What needs to be done to achieve a higher upload speed?

There are only 2 of us sharing this connection so we don't mind sacrificing some download bandwidwith in order to get acceptable upload bandwidth. As things are at the moment I feel that we were better off with ADSL+.

Hi Riezl,

A TPG technician contacted me yesterday and advised me that 1 Mbps is the maximum upload speed for my NBN plan (12 Mbps download speed).
So I'll be looking for a more suitable plan.
