FTTC - Slow Internet Speed

Hello

I have just gotten my NBN today.

The internet speed is fine at 44-45mbps for the first few hours then it drops down to 1mbps before needing a restart on the modem and NDC. I have repeated this several times to get the speed back up just for it to go back down again. Any idea on why this is happening?

Would appreciate any assistance to this issue. Thanks!
