FTTN connection on VR1600v keeps disconnecting

I am getting disconnections multiple times per hour.  Also, my router is reporting "every IP of the domain has been tried, but we didn't find the correct one!" every 30 seconds, but I don't even use VOIP.

Can I stop it from trying to connect to VOIP? I've checked the router settings and I can't find where to do this.

Failing, that can someone assist me in figuring out why I'm getting all these dropouts?

Thx

JP

I was on a 20min video call this morning, and it dropped out five times, each for about 10 seconds.

This is now causing problems as I have 4 people working from home.

How can I get this sorted?

Thx

Hi @jjpeet,

We ran an initial test to the service it shows no dropout detected and was stable for 1d 6h 17m

There are different types of dropouts that you may experience:

1. Network dropouts, this dropout is caused by a line fault on TPG or NBN's network. Affecting all device(s) LAN/Wireless connected to the modem/router this may require a real-time test and investigation by our Technicians and Engineers.

2. Wireless dropouts, this issue only affects the device(s) connected via Wi-Fi which can easily be fix by doing adjustment to the modem/router's settings.

3. Dropouts caused by ongoing outage in your area.

In the event that you experience dropouts via Wireless/Wi-Fi connection, we recommend having a read on the following articles:
