How long does it take for a speed upgrade to become active

Hello,

I requested for a plan for speed upgrade from 50 to 100mbps and received an email saying that the upgrade was completed yesterday 7/6/24. I have yet to see any speed improvement. I've tried turning the nbn modem off for 10 seconds and then back on again with no effect. My connection is HFC. I have a Huawei HG659 router connected to the nbn box.
