Internet dropouts - failure to reconnect

Hi TPG,
My internet connection keeps dropping out. Sometimes it is stable for many days; other times (like today) it drops out multiple times. When it drops out, reconnecting takes FOREVER. I’m currently on my 24th modem reboot to try to re-establish a connection after the latest dropout.
Earlier this evening it took 13 reboots. So just today I have wasted over 3 hours just trying to get internet service.
When it DOES connect, I only ever get 28-29 Mbps download speed - significantly below the 50Mbps speed I’m paying for.

They have lodged this to NBN Co. who has booked a technician for Tuesday, 28 January 2020, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
