Internet dropping out / outage

Hi there, for the last couple of weeks our internet connection is rather unstable. it drops out every now and then. Restarted modem and after a while it fixed itself. This is happening throughout the day.
With lots of people working from home, having intermittent internet is very challenging. I get SMS notification after the internet is down, and another SMS advising still being investigated, even after internet is fixed. Any idea why the increased drops out lately?

We checked your account and learned that your service is affected by an unplanned NBN network outage.

It is posted on the NBN network status site.

 

There's no information on what caused the network outage, but the NBN Co has sent a field technician to investigate it.

We are still waiting for the report and an ETA will be provided once available.

We understand that your service has been restored.

 

The NBN field technician that attended the job replaced the faulty hardware within the network, which resolves the issue.
