Internet dropping out

Hi, my NBN has been dropping out in the past 24 hours. I have called tech support and they have said it’s a problem from the node to the house and someone will be in touch from the engineering dept in next 24 hours but they cut the call really abruptly and I wasn’t able to ask any questions or get a ticket number etc. can I please get an eta on when this will be fixed? I work from
Home and am unable to do so
