Modem firmware update and connection speed issues...

2 things if I may,

First is a request for a modem firmware update push.

Current modem firmware is quite old and I see there are newer versions available. Current version details are -

Firmware Version - 0.1.0 0.9.1 v5006.0 Build 171027 Rel.38125n
Hardware Version - Archer VR1600v v1 00000000

Second is that I have noticed a reduction in the connection speed, both current and max speeds recently as reported from the modem. Since switching the service from TPG ADSL to FTTN with TPG in march 2018, the max rate was approx 49-50000kbps and consistently connected at 48-49000kbps.

In the last month or so, it has been consistently connecting at 28-30000kbps both max and current.

Current Rate (kbps)1515729501
Max Rate (kbps)1515729801
SNR Margin (dB)6.66.4
Line Attenuation (dB)41.619.7
Errors (pkts)00

There was NBN planned maintenance some time between the 6th and 19th of March and there appears to be a new node located closer to my location some months before the planned maintenance.

I have restarted the modem, and reset it to defaults to allow it to pull down the config again with no change.

I would appreciate it if the reduction in speed could be investigated please?

regards

Kevin
