Hi @DavidDolan Welcome to the community, you need to wait until your number is ported across before you cancel your Telstra account, you need to double check that both incoming and outgoing calls are working to ensure porting is complete, it can take up to a few days in some cases.
Use a mobile to call in and double check the number displayed on a mobile when you call outwards from your NBN service to be sure.
