NBN FTTC no connection

Does my existing service with Telstra need to be disconnected before I can set up my new FTTC connection?

We were able to locate your account and it seems that you've ordered the TPG NBN FTTC service on the 30 November and it is still in progress. The installation time frame may take 2 to 30 working days.


You are not required to cancel your account with Telstra as of the moment, especially when you are going to port your phone number with us. To make sure that the number will be ported successfully, the account with them should stay active until the process is finished.


Once the TPG NBN service is installed and working, then you may disconnect the service with them.
