NBN HFC drop outs for few seconds to a minute 20+ times a day

Hi,

My HFC connection started having short period of dropouts 20+ times a day for about a month or so. I use ASUS RT-AC68U for my router, and the modem is one provided by TPG.

Here I grab logs for a day. As you can see, each dropout lasts only for few seconds to up to a minute.

Interestingly my router does not tell anything more than "Failed to connect with some issues", and those 'micro dropouts' seem not require re-establishing the connection but recovers by itself.

As a comparison, I also post logs from a 'connection down' event below. Hope you can see it's very different from what I posted above. But this type of event happens much less often (once or twice a month) and I'm okay with having those occasionally.

Does anyone have any idea about the 'micro dropouts'? I feel the physical connection has some problem but I'm not 100% sure.
