NBN Speed is a joke with TPG

I pay $59.99 for my nbn and i am on the lowest speed but when you dont get what you are paying for its a joke, talking about bloody slow i would rather adsl2 it was faster then this crap i am suppose to get 11.2mbps and i do a speed test day and night the highest i have ever gotten is 8, so why the hell am i paying for something they dont deliver i am so over these big companys ripping us of  when you are on pension every bit counts it would be a different story if i did not pay the full amount. and why do they have to direct debit i would rather pay fortnightly then monthly it would fit my budget better

As per checking, you are currently on Standard (nbn12) plan, which has a typical evening speed of 11.2Mbps download and ideal for essential use and 1-2 users. This plan is configured on the nbn12 wholesale plan tier with 1Mbps upload.

 

We have checked the status of your connection and we are not detecting any fault on the line or network at the moment. However, we'd like to identify what is causing the slow connection and what can be done to improve the speed you are getting at the moment.

 

We have also received your email and we can see that a technical specialist has been assigned to contact you for assistance.

 

We will make a follow up to ensure that a contact will be made as soon as possible.
