Get online support
I have HFC NBN in Templestowe Lower, Victoria.
I've had no issues with the connection for 2 years but starting a week ago I'm getting connection drop-outs for 5 mins every 1 - 2 hrs.
No change to modem settings.
When it drops out, the Internet light goes off on the router. It seems the NBN connection is down during this time.
Can this be fixed?

Try contacting tech support via this link https://www.tpg.com.au/support/contact. The operator should be able to run some tests on your connection and acertain if your drop out issue requires an NBN technician.
Phone support is unavailable and every time I try chat it says there is no one available either.
