NBN service termination

Hello,

 

I called TPG on Monday to terminate my NBN service in August (more than 30 days notice).

Been told on the phone that everything is done, the service will be terminated on the requested date and I don't need to do anything. I was also told that TPG will send me a notificiation email within 24-48 hours but

I haven't received any email yet. (it's been more than 48 hours.)

Am I meant to receive a confirmation of termination request within 24-48 hours or does it mean I will receive an email notification once the service is terminated?
