NBN100 speed drops to half until I reboot Modem every evening around 8pm. Getting tired.

I have FTTC, I should just need a router. TPG rediculousrequirmeent to VLan Tag makes it hard to find a good router and lack of info to set one up.  You can't even use google nest wifi.  So am stuck with having to reboot every night.  Not exactly a premium service,  Just stop offering one size fits all mode router so you don't need any trained techs ot advise and let people use quality products byo

As usual find your own answer with TPG.  It should be possible to use most routers.  see TP Link as an example
