In the last week my connection speed has dropped from 80Mbps+ to less than 15Mbps.
I have followed all the steps in the troubleshooting guide (https://community.tpg.com.au/t5/Featured-Articles/Slow-speed-issue/ba-p/1197) but am still getting very slow speeds.
Hi @bmyers
-Have you tried to run a speed on another devices with your Mac turned off?
-Can you confirm if you are using the TPG speedtest? (http://tpg.speedtestcustom.com/)
Regards,
Karl
Hi @bmyers
Could you please send me a PM (private message) with your Full Name, CID (customer identication number) and your mobile phone number, so I can take a look at your service?
Regards,
Karl
Hi @bmyers
Thanks for your PM. Checking your service your modem/router and NBN NCD have not disconnected in over 2 weeks. Can you please restart both of these devices and retest your service?
Regards,
Karl
Hi @bmyers
I have run tests on your service, and it indicates that you should be getting around 80-85Mbps.
What device are your testing your service speed on?
Are you connecting via Wi-Fi or Ethernet?
How many devices do you have connected to your network?
Are you using a VPN?
Regards,
Karl
I'm testing on my MacBook Pro. I've tested on both WiFi and ethernet, and in Firefox and Chrome. There is only my laptop connected. I have even turned off the wifi networks (2.4 and 5GHz) when testing over ethernet. Still slow. I am not using a VPN.

Hi @KarlB
Weird - it seems to only be my Mac that was affected. All sorted after a restart.
I had noticed high pings when gaming on another machine earlier this week, but that seems to be working fine now.
Thanks for your help.
